Charlotte, NC---- Operations Manager/Program Director for Sports Radio 610AM WFNZ 1660AM WFNA & Country Station 103.7 WSOC DJ Stout announced today that Charlie and Debbie Johnson inked a deal to join Charlotte’s #1 Country Station, 103.7 WSOC, for Afternoon Drive beginning Thursday, March 30th. “The Charlie and Debbie Show”, a CMA Award winning show, joins 103.7 WSOC from WZZK in Birmingham, Alabama. “We conducted a national search to fill this position, and after meeting Charlie and Debbie, we knew immediately that they were the perfect candidates for this job”, said Stout.

Married to each other since 1994, both Charlie and Debbie are native Texans who love country radio and being part of their community. They have lots of family in the Charlotte area and are happy to be here along with their young son. As the newest addition to 103.7 WSOC family, Charlie and Debbie will entertain WSOC listeners on the ride home each afternoon with traffic, weather, fun and lots of the hottest country music!
